Sauerkraut with rice and leek
Ingredients:
- 1 jar of Mamas sauerkraut
- 50 grams of rice
- 200 milliliters of water
- 1/2 stalk of leek
Preparation:
Finely chop the leek and fry it in a little oil. After 2-3 minutes of frying, add the rice and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Season with a little mixed dry spice, then add the stock from the jar.
Pour in the water and transfer the mixture to a preheated oven set at 250 degrees. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Once the rice is cooked, slightly open the oven door and let it rest for 5 minutes to allow the rice to absorb all the water and swell nicely.
